Birch House Sober Living began with a simple belief: people in early recovery do better with stable housing, honest structure, and people around them who understand the work. Drawing on 22 years of healthcare service, we opened our doors to provide residents across Hanford and the wider Central Valley with a place where accountability is expected, and support is always close by.

What we do centers on the whole journey back to steady footing. Our sober living program provides a calm, substance-free residence to call home, while our recovery housing adds structured routines that help new habits take root. For those moving from treatment toward independent living, our transitional housing provides a supportive environment where residents live alongside others following a similar path. We pair that living environment with peer support, recovery support, and life skills training to help residents develop practical habits for greater stability and independence.

We run our sober living home around the clock, providing residents with 24-hour access to their housing environment. Our sober living manager helps maintain household structure and accountability, while residents can participate in recovery meetings and receive ongoing support as they work toward their goals. We also provide transportation assistance so residents can get to recovery meetings and other essential appointments without unnecessary barriers.

For administrative services, we maintain specific operating hours so we can handle inquiries, documentation, scheduling, and other administrative needs during designated times. With clear, professional documentation, we keep service information organized so referral partners, families, and residents stay informed.

As a sole proprietor operation, we take personal responsibility for the services we provide, maintaining a direct approach to recovery housing, peer support, and transitional living.
